Ingredients for Baked Sea Bass with Potatoes for 2 people
- Small portion of sea bass - 1 piece
- Small potatoes - 5 pieces or if they are quite large, 2 pieces will suffice
- Onion - 1/2 piece
- Carrots - 3 pieces
- Fresh rosemary - 3 sprigs
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Extra virgin olive oil - a drizzle
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
How to make the recipe Baked Sea Bass with Potatoes
- First, we will wash the potatoes and cut them into slices about half a centimeter thick.
- Peel the onion and cut it.
- Heat a little extra virgin olive oil in a pan and cook the potatoes, carrot, and onion. We will do this for 15 minutes over medium-low heat.
- At the end, season it to taste.
- This ensures that the potato, carrot, and onion are half cooked when we put them in the oven, thus ensuring that they finish cooking with the sea bass.
- Next, we prepare the sea bass by making some cuts in the oven and fill them with lemon slices. Be careful to cut thin slices so it comes out right.
- Now, use an oven tray on which we put the potatoes, onion, and carrots that we have previously cooked. We place the sea bass on top of them.
- Then it will be time to cut some sprigs of rosemary and put them on the sides, and if we want, also some loose leaves on top, to flavor the sea bass well.
- Now season it with salt and freshly ground pepper.
- drizzle with more extra virgin olive oil.
- Finally, bake it for about 20 or 25 minutes or until we see it is ready, depending on the characteristics of our oven. The oven should be preheated to 375° F.
