Hello Foodies! Today we bring you this super healthy, light, fresh, and easy-to-prepare whole wheat pasta salad. Today we are going to prepare: Hawaiian Whole Wheat Pasta Salad.

Ingredients for Hawaiian Whole Wheat Pasta Salad for 2 people
- Dry Pasta - 2 cups (we have used whole wheat Farfalle for being healthier, but you can use your favorite pasta)
- Turkey slices -3 pieces
- Onion - 1/4 piece
- Carrot - 1/2 piece
- Pineapple - 1 cup (better if it's natural and not in syrup, as it will be healthier)
- Dijon Mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Extra virgin olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Modena balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Parsley - a few leaves to decorate
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
How to make the recipe Hawaiian Whole Wheat Pasta Salad
- The first thing we will do is cook the pasta in boiling water with a little salt, until it is al dente or at the cooking point where you like your pasta to be.
- The next thing will be to cut turkey or ham slices into thin strips, this will give a more special touch to this ingredient.
- Then we are going to cut the carrot. We have chosen to use a potato peeler which will give us very thin strips of carrot.
- Now we will cut very thin slices of onion.
- The next thing will be to prepare the salad dressing. For this, we have used extra virgin olive oil, Modena balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
- We put everything in a bowl and mix everything very well with the help of a fork so that we have an mix of all the ingredients.
- Now it will be time to plate our salad. We have put the pasta in the center and the carrot strips around it. Then the turkey strips. We also spread the onion around. We continue with the pineapple cubes. Finally, we will pour our dressing around the plate and also on top of the pasta.
- And as a final touch we have cut some fresh parsley leaves to give a touch of decoration and flavor to our pasta salad.
