A very simple dish that will be ready in just ten minutes and will be an ideal option to accompany your fish dishes or any meat recipe that makes your mouth water.

Keep the skin

The ideal is not to peel these potatoes, as with this skin you will achieve more juicy potatoes that can be removed after cooking. You'll notice a big difference!

Cut into similar sizes

If they are large we cut them in half, but try to keep the size similar so that some do not cook while others still need several minutes of cooking.

Recommended time

To boil four potatoes, the recommended time is 11 or 12 minutes plus resting minutes, as well as for roasting them with oil. However, you may notice a small difference of one or two minutes depending on the power of your microwave. The results will not be the same in a 900W microwave as in a 1100W microwave.

  • Extra virgin olive oil - a dash
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Pepper - a pinch

  1. The first thing we will do is wash the potatoes well, since we will not remove the skin during cooking.
  2. Next, we simply cut them in half and make small cuts so that they cook well inside and do not remain raw.
  3. Then, we put them in a container and sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Also a dash of olive oil and if we want, we can also add any other spice that we like.
  4. Now it's time to put these potatoes in the microwave: The first thing is that we use a microwave-safe container and if possible, try to avoid plastic. Once we have this clear, we will cover the potatoes with a plate leaving a small opening for heat to escape.
  5. We will put it on full power for eight minutes and if after that time we see that they are still not to your liking, we can put them in for another two minutes. Done!
