Hello, Foodies! Today we'll teach you a super easy and healthy way to prepare cookies at home. We're going to make: Oatmeal Cookies without White Sugar.

For this recipe we are going to use soft oat flakes which are flakes that have been crushed just a little. However, in the case of oatmeal, it has been crushed a lot, until the texture of a traditional flour is achieved.

If you like healthy dessert recipes, this week we have been posting many desserts without white sugar. For example, the No-Bake Cold Cheesecake Without White Sugar!  At the end of the recipe we'll tell you about the recipe we will post tomorrow. For now, let's go with today's recipe.

Ingredients for Oatmeal Cookies without White Sugar for 2 people

  • Soft oat flakes - 125 grams
  • Oat flour - 45 grams
  • Vegetable milk - 40 ml
  • Panela - 4 or 5 tablespoons (or another healthy substitute for refined white sugar)
  • Stevia - 1/2 small tablespoon (in this way we do not add as many calories to the recipe as if we sweetened everything with panela)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons

How to make the recipe Oatmeal Cookies without White Sugar

  1. To prepare this delicious healthy sweet, the first thing we will do is pour the olive oil, panela, stevia into a large bowl and stir very well.
  2. Then we add the vegetable milk.
  3. Now will be the time to add the oat flakes, a trick to make the blending easier is to add lukewarm vegetable milk.
  4. In this case we have used soft oat flakes and also oatmeal.
  5. We add little by little and alternately both the oat flakes and the oatmeal, until we have a malleable dough similar to bread dough,
  6. We have mixed it first with a vanilla, and then already with our hands to knead it well. If it was still too liquid, we add more oats. Or if on the contrary, we go overboard and it is too solid, we add more vegetable milk.
  7. Now, we prepare an oven tray with non-stick paper. And we start taking fragments of the dough and shaping the cookies.
  8. We will put it in the oven for about 10 to 14 minutes. The oven must be preheated to 180° C or 355° F.
