"Agua de Valencia" is a cocktail native to the city of Valencia, Spain. It's said to have been created by a group of students in the 1960s, who were inspired by the famous Cuban daiquiri to create a refreshing and aromatic drink based on fruit juices.

The drink became very popular in Valencia and soon spread throughout Spain. Today, Agua de Valencia is a very popular drink all over the country and is usually consumed on festive occasions and during the summer, when a fresh and aromatic option is sought. Although its origin is attributed to Valencia, it's possible that the drink has an older history, as there are references to similar drinks in other parts of Spain and Europe. In any case, Agua de Valencia is nowadays a much-appreciated and enjoyed beverage worldwide.

It's made from a mixture of fruit juices, mainly orange, tangerine, and lemon, to which cava and vodka are added. A little sugar and ice are usually added to sweeten and cool the drink, as it's usually served cold and can be consumed as a refreshing beverage at any time of the day.

It's usually served in glasses and can be taken alone or accompanied by a light meal, such as tapas or appetizers. It's important to bear in mind that Agua de Valencia contains alcohol, so moderation is recommended when consuming it.
