Notes and Tips
Cook the sauce slowly: The Bolognese sauce needs time to develop all its flavor and for the ingredients to mix well. Cook on low heat for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, to get a rich and tasty sauce.
Use a bit of red wine: If you have red wine on hand, add a splash to the sauce to give it an extra touch of flavor. The red wine adds depth and complexity to the sauce.
Add a bit of sugar: If you notice that the sauce is a bit acidic, you can balance the taste by adding a pinch of sugar. This will soften the flavor and make the sauce more pleasant to the palate.
Serve with grated Parmesan cheese: Parmesan cheese is the perfect accompaniment for Spaghetti Bolognese. Grate some on top before serving to add an extra touch of flavor and texture.
