  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • 400 grams of crushed or canned tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to make the recipe Spaghetti Bolognese

  1. Place a large pot with water to boil and add a teaspoon of salt. Add the spaghetti and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until al dente.
  2. Meanwhile, chop the onion, garlic, carrot, and celery into small pieces.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the minced meat and cook until it's golden but not fully cooked.
  4. Add the onion, garlic, carrot, and celery to the pan. Cook everything together for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

Notes and Tips

Cook the sauce slowly: The Bolognese sauce needs time to develop all its flavor and for the ingredients to mix well. Cook on low heat for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, to get a rich and tasty sauce.
